Limit Show – 31 December 2016

 

My thanks to the committee for the invite to judge, my steward and the exhibitors.

Best in Show: Lawrence and Woodward’s BRYNTREIA FIRST GLANCE  Whippet D. A stunning 2 and half year old dog of high quality. Clean lines, dark eye and neat ears, smooth shoulder and so sound on the move, holding his topline he moved effortlessly and stylishly. Good length of loin and sweep of stifle.

 

Reserve Best in Show: Tibbotts MISSTRICKS FORONE NITE ONLY, Boxer B. Pleasing head and expression, nice dark eye, good front, ample reach of neck, good depth of chest, moved well.

 

Best Puppy in Show: Rankine’s GEMPOINT CATCH A DREAM FOR FYLDEFAIR, Pointer B. Feminine head, nice reach of neck, good front, well sprung ribs and well muscled. Lovely clean lines.

 

Reserve Best Puppy in Show: Olof’s TARNOCK DEMOISELLE DEVONA, Papillon B. 10 month old puppy, on her toes, fine boned with elegant profile, lovely ears, moved well.

 

Best Veteran in Show: Wootton’s JETANDRA JAHKIRA, Havanese B. Lovely girl, well coated in excellent condition. Good teeth, well-shaped body, moved well.

 

Reserve Best Veteran in Show: Roberts and Spearing’s REDCAP BREAK THE MOULD AT LINKENLEES SHCH, Beagle B. Lovely head, kind eye, good teeth, sound front, moved well.

 

 

AV Utility: MP 1 Cann’s SUNMARCA MOONLIGHT SHADOW, Poodle (miniature). Very smart, well balanced, good head and shoulder placement. Moved well around the ring. 2 Davies MADDIDALLI EMBERS GLOW Dalmatian.

P 1 Taylor’s NOVATELL SCHONE BLUME, Poodle (std) Well constructed dog, but rather challenging to owner when on the move.

J 1Burr SILMORALBIONS EUGENE, Eurasier. Just out of puppy, he has a lovely coat, dark eye and good reach of neck.

G 1 North’s TAVALETAISHITA, Japanese Spitz. Nice shape. Gave it’s owner a hard time in the ring, just wouldn’t settle.

O 1 Plummer’s TETSIKARMA STARGAZER, Tibetan Terrier. Well proportioned dog of good substance. Lovely eyes and coat. Good angulation and bone.

Spaniel (Am.Cocker) – Black, 6mths. Beautiful head with dark eyes and good bite. Straight front, nice shoulder placement leading to a nice topline and good rear. Beautiful movement and handled well at such a young age.

Retriever (Golden), 11mths. Nice pleasing head housing a good bite. Good conformation with a straight front, good topline and nicely angulated rear. This one just needed to calm but once she did she moved and showed herself lovely with plenty of enthusiasm.

Irish Setter, 2yrs. This one stole my attention as soon as he entered the ring! Beautiful outline in profile and on the move. Stunning head, housing a good bite. Superb coat. Beautiful shape showing off a lovely straight front, depth of chest, topline and good rear. Movement was sound with good rear drive. Please to award Best in Group.

WHWT, 7mths. What a little stunner. Stole the attention in the ring the moment he strutted in! Beautiful head with wonderful expression housing beautiful dark eyes and a good bite. Good balanced puppy, excellent profile with super rear movement. Outmoved the class. Please to award him Reserve Best in Group as well as Best Puppy in Group – one to watch for sure.

Whippet, 15mths. Beautiful feminine head with a clean muzzle housing a good bite. Lovely outline of conformation with a straight front, good laid back shoulder placement and nice length of body – very balanced. Nicely angulated rear which showed with good movement. Handled well.

Whippet, 16mths. Stood alone in this class but that is not to deter from the quality of this young bitch. Beautiful head with a lovely feminine expression and housing a good bite. Good overall in profile with a good straight front, good topline, length of body ratios and rear angulations. Moved very well.

1st Quant’s – Woodweaver Moon Dust
Whippet, 4yrs. Beautiful dog. Very good outline and conformation. Great head housing a keen expression and good bite. Wonderfully straight front, lean body and good angulations. Out moved the class and handled exceptionally well. Pleased to award him Reserved Best in Group – pushed the Group Winner hard.

Whippet, 2yrs. Well this one stood out in what was a tough class. The presence this dog had was stunning. Wonderful in profile, superb conformation. Beautiful head with fabulous expression, clean muzzle housing a good bite. Straight front, with good shoulder placement. Nice depth of brisket with good ribs. Lovely topline leading down to good rear angulations. Out moved his class and stood out at all times. Handled extremely well with good dog/handler connection. Very pleased to award Best in Group.
